
The Plaster Casting Workshop is an experiential experience for any visitor interested in getting to know in a simple and pleasant way, the use of gypsum in Greek architecture and the decoration of buildings. It is based on contact with the gypsum material and the creativity that the participants will experience. Also, the historical reference to the application of plaster in mansions and neoclassical buildings, through photo albums, documents, as well as the knowledge about the stages of processing and production of the material, are an exciting experience!
The magical world of the Creative Industry and Creative Tourism comes alive through the interactive educational programs of Culture and Prosperity sce for the acquisition of experiential experiences and basic knowledge regarding plaster.
The aim is the participation of the population (citizens of the local community, visitors, student community aged 8 years and over, etc.) to participate in an original educational program where they will be initiated into the process of creating objects of Ancient and Modern Greek art from gypsum, using molds and materials provided by Culture and Prosperity s.c.e. Through historical retrospection, the use of gypsum from antiquity until today, the history of the objects, while they will be informed about the above through audiovisual material.
The release of one's creativity by traveling to the "Path of the Gypsum Craftsman", which leads to the magical world of Gypsum, is a subset that helps to acquire beautiful emotions and to record them in his memory forever. On the other hand, the Plaster Casting Workshop contributes, as a point of creative expression, to the development of skills, to the contact of participants with the Cultural Elements of Greece by linking the creation of a copy with the historical events that connect it and the acquisition of basic knowledge about the usefulness of plaster.
The dissemination of information on the historical events that connect each gypsum copy is based on Greek and foreign bibliography. While the choice of molds arises depending on the topic of the seminar.

Το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα του Βιωματικού Εργαστηρίου Γυψοτεχνίας, μετά από ενδελεχή ερεύνα που πραγματοποίησαν τα στελέχη της Culture and Prosperity s.c.e. διαπιστώνεται ότι εναρμονίζεται με τον Οδηγό Κριτήριων Αξιολόγησης Εκπαιδευτικών Προγραμμάτων και Μαθητικών Δράσεων (διαγωνισμών, φεστιβάλ, συνεδρίων) που εκδίδει το Ινστιτούτο Εκπαιδευτικής Πολιτικής (ΙΕΠ).
Oι Διοικήσεις και οι Σύλλογοι Διδασκόντων των Σχολείων Μονάδων, στο πλαίσιο της σχολικής ζωής και του εκπαιδευτικού προγραμματισμού της σχολικής μονάδας, δύναται να αξιοποιήσουν θετικά το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα του Plaster Casting Workshop και να το συμπεριλάβουν στον προβλεπόμενο ετήσιο σχεδιασμό και την οργάνωση εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και δράσεων (διαγωνισμών, φεστιβάλ, συνεδρίων) πολιτιστικού, αθλητικού, κοινωνικού ή εκπαιδευτικού ενδιαφέροντος, που συμπληρώνουν και εμπλουτίζουν το περιεχόμενο των Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών, συμβάλλουν στην καλλιέργεια αξιών και δεξιοτήτων των μαθητών/τριών και αποτελούν δίαυλο επικοινωνίας του σχολείου με την κοινωνία.
Σημαντική σημείωση
Η επιλογή και ο προγραμματισμός αυτών των εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και δράσεων (διαγωνισμών, φεστιβάλ, συνεδρίων) θα πρέπει – σύμφωνα με την παρ. 2, άρθρο 87 του ν. 4823/2021, όπως αυτό έχει τροποποιηθεί με το άρθρο 73 του Ν.5128/2024 – να λαμβάνει υπόψη τα κριτήρια και τις προδιαγραφές που ορίζει το Ινστιτούτο Εκπαιδευτικής Πολιτικής (ΙΕΠ).
Actions in Creative Tourism.
The team of Culture and Prosperity s.c.e. attended the series of seminars organized by Development Olympia (LEADER project implementing body and ENERDECA implementing partner) in Ancient Olympia in 2024.
The ENERDECA project (Enhancing European Rural Development Capabilities) is a LEADER Transnational Cooperation Project, i.e. it is implemented jointly by nineteen (19) Local Action Groups (bodies implementing LEADER programs) with Kavala Development S.A. as Lead Partner. It focuses on the development and promotion of a distinct product of Creative Tourism, which will help local communities to highlight the cultural and environmental capital of LEADER areas and exchange experiences and know-how.
The Plaster Casting Workshop is a service that can contribute to the implementation of actions in the context of the Creative Industry, Innovation and Creative Tourism through education as well as be incorporated into existing or under creation actions planned by the Region or the Municipality for citizens, visitors and tourists. It is based on contact with the material and the creativity that the participants will experience. The knowledge of the stages of processing and production of the material is an exciting experience for anyone interested in getting to know in a simple and pleasant way, the use of gypsum material in Greek architecture and the decoration of buildings.
Following the concepts of Creative Tourism, Creative Industry and Social Innovation, we created an educational program whose aim is for participants to create a working relationship with trainers, through the transmission of information and knowledge transfer, in order to upgrade their educational knowledge, and to be properly prepared to walk the "Path of the Gypsum Craftsman".
